Envily 'Happy Birthday Wish'

Emily sleeps soundly in her sleeping bag in the quiet forest. Suddenly a sound wakes her. "Emily, Emily? Wake up, I've got something for you."
Emily yawns and leans up. Seeing that it's just Envy, she groans and rubs her eyes. "What is it Envy, can't I sleep a little but more?"
Envy shakes his head. "Nope, not on your birthday you can't. You wouldn't want this to go to waste." Envy moves his hands out from behind his back, reviling a chocolate cake. "Happy Birthday, I made it myself."
Emily stands up wide eyed. "Envy, it looks amazing!"
Envy smiles "And it should taste amazing too, but before you have a piece you have to open my gift." Envy hands Emily a small box wrapped in silver paper.
Emily unwraps it and opens the small box holding a golden locket. "Oh Envy, it's beautiful."
Envy grins "Open it." Emily opens the locket, which held on one side a picture of her family and on the other side a picture of them together.
Emily eyes begen to water. "Envy...it's...it's perfect."
Envy cups his hands over hers "Now you can have both of your family's with you all the time."
Emily flings her arms around Envy. "Thank you so much."
Envy chuckles. "You're welcome....now." Envy picks up the cake and holds it up to Emily. "Why don't you blow out the candles and make a wish."
Emily closes her eyes and blows out the candles.
Envy smiles and cuts her off a piece of cake. After finishing the cake, Emily licks her lips. "That was wonderful, Envy!"


Chuckling, Envy puts his arms around her waist pulling her close. "Did you think of a wish yet?"
Blushing Emily nods "Yeah...I did."
Envy leans his face closer to hers. "What was it?"
Seeing him so close, she blushing even more. "I can't tell you or it may not come true." Envy chuckles. "That's true, atleast let me give you my gift for you."
Emily voice comes out in a whisper "I thought you already gave me your gift?"
Envy chuckles and smiles "Yes....but...I have something else I would like to give you." Envy pushes his lips onto hers, running his fingers though her hair. Emily wraps her arms around his neck, melting into his arms. Emily thinks to herself "This is the best Birthday ever, I can't believe this is actually happening." Her head spinning with joy, she starts to feel like she's flying. Then all of a sudden she starts to feel like she falling, opening her eyes she see that Envy's gone and so is the ground.

Before she hit the bottom, Emily woke up with a jerk to see it was all a dream. She remembered her Birthday already happened. Looking at Envy laying asleep next to her, she sighs and lays back down. "It was only a dream....it was to wonderful not to be....well...there's always next year."
